Leaked footage of football player Ray Rice hitting then-fiancée (and now wife) Janay Rice has shocked the U.S. But domestic violence is an all too common problem and what the United Nations calls a global epidemic. So instead of focusing on Janay, as the media and Twitter has, why don’t we ask how to prevent abuse from happening?
